In my last post I left you with the Castle and the Cathedral. Leaving with the images of torture chambers we went to the old part of the city.

Since the Castle venture had so much walking involved with it we did some people watching in the old town plaza where we saw all kinds of street people and wonderful architecture from years gone by, including a beautiful astronomical clock on the facade of the old town hall. To make seeing the sights easier we took a wheeled train tour that added to our understanding of the Czechs and their architecture.
That evening we stopped off at another Mom and Pop restaurants where they didn't even accept credit cards and we were serenaded by several drunk Czechs. They were loud but they typified what we had learned in our brief stop in the Czech Republic, that they enjoy life. Years of war and revolutions had caused them to put life in perspective. Here is some goulash soup and chicken paprikish that we have eaten along great the way.
